(35 1/2h x 66w x 21d) The top is built with bread board ends, as it used to be built. The ends are glued along 1/3rd of the surface and attached with two 1/8" dowels, to allow for the natural expansion of the wood. The back of the Chest of Drawers is made from 3/8" tongue and grooved solid Cedar, unlike the commonly used Cedar Veneer plywood. Cedar is used for protection against insects and the pleaseant scent. However, we took the Cedar out of the drawers because it often stains clothing. |
